Sometimes, our customers even call us Paul—which, honestly, we take as a compliment. But the truth is, Paul is everywhere. And no, not a person… or maybe? 🤔

Since the truth is highly classified (or maybe we just enjoy keeping the mystery alive), let's explore some of the wildest theories we’ve heard about Paul: ‍

1. Paul is an AI Genius Living in Our Office  

Some believe Paul is a highly advanced AI, but not in the way you think. Instead of being a cloud-based algorithm, Paul is a superhuman genius sitting in a dark office, manually responding to every HR request at lightning speed. Imagine a caffeinated mastermind typing 1,000 words per minute, solving workforce problems like a superhero with a keyboard. ‍

2. Paul is an Army of Interns in Disguise  

A surprising number of people suspect that Paul is actually not artificial intelligence, but instead a massive team of interns, secretly working behind the scenes. Day and night, they sit in a giant warehouse, processing job applications, approving time-off requests, and scheduling interviews—all while pretending to be a single AI assistant.
